About the Opportunity
Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is seeking a passionate and motivated Dietitian to join our dynamic Allied Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutritional care across a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
As a Level 1/2 Dietitian, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement nutrition interventions that support patient recovery and wellbeing. You’ll be exposed to a broad range of clinical areas, with opportunities for professional development, supervision, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

What You'll be Doing
This position is responsible for providing patient centered and high quality nutrition services to patients in SWSLHD including providing nutritional care to patients as per caseload; provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development, quality improvement and research as required.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.
The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital. - Post graduate qualification or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics as recognized by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Relevant clinical experience and good knowledge of current Dietetics Practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group education skills.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to quality improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and evidence based practice
- Excellent computer skills including CBORD
