About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and self-motivated Digital Marketing Assistant to help drive our online presence and generate leads for our mechanical workshop. This casual, hybrid position is ideal for someone with experience or strong interest in digital marketing who wants flexibility and hands-on involvement in a local business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content (primarily Facebook and instagram)
- Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns for local lead generation
- Assist in structuring and improving landing pages for ad campaigns
- Support email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp)
- Update and manage website content (basic Squarespace and High Level knowledge a plus)
- Design visuals using Canva or similar tools
- Track digital performance metrics and report campaign results
- Research competitors, customer behaviour, and online trends
What We're Looking For:
- Experience or strong interest in digital marketing
- Familiarity with Google Ads, social media marketing, and other digital tools
- Understanding of landing page layout and high-converting content
- Basic knowledge of Squarespace and email marketing tools
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Reliable, organised, and self-directed
- Able to attend our Stratton, WA workshop 1–2 days per week
