Disability Support Worker

• Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Domestic Duties: Perform general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
• Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Community Participation: Support clients to access community services, attend appointments, social activities, and engage in hobbies and interests.
• Emotional & Social Support: Offer companionship, encourage positive interactions, and support mental wellbeing.
• Medication Support: Administer or supervise medication intake as per care plan and training.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Observe and document changes in clients’ health, behaviour, or circumstances and report as necessary.
• Advocacy & Empowerment: Encourage independence and ensure client rights, dignity, and choices are always respected.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with family members, health professionals, and other support staff to deliver consistent and person-centred care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• First Aid Certification
• Driver’s License
• CPR Certification
• Police Check
• Comprehensive Car Insurance

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Working with Children Check
• Manual Handling Training
• Medication Support Training
• Passport
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
• Certificate III in Individual Support (if not applicable, please provide your OT Qualification instead)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• VISA VEVO Check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
