Disability Support Worker

Blended Care Australia are seeking motivated, fun, patient and reliable staff members to join our team of health care professionals to support and empower the diverse community around us. Experience in the industry is essential for this position. A successful candidate must be confident with personal care. You must be willing to work short shifts and travel throughout Greater Sydney on a needs basis.

Licence is essential for this role.

The role may include but not limited to:

• Working independently within your local community.
• Assistance with personal care tasks including showering.
• Light domestic tasks including assistance with cleaning and cooking where needed

Essential:

• Drivers Licence & access to your own vehicle
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• National Police Check
• Working With Children’s Check
• COVID-19 Vaccination (Booster)
• Flu Vaccination
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
• You possess sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including short shifts, mornings, and evenings.

Desirable/Highly preferred but not required:

• Certificate III in disability, community services or other health disciplines including those working towards a qualification in health.
• Experience with personal care assistance.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.00 – $70.00 per hour
