Client Support:
- Provide safe, caring, and culturally appropriate support tailored to each client’s strengths and needs.
- Assist with personal care, domestic tasks (including yard work), social support, and transport as per shift and support plans.
- Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours while maintaining client dignity.
- Respect and maintain client and staff confidentiality.
Operational Duties:
- Follow daily shift plans and support documents accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment following OH&S standards.
- Identify and manage risks and hazards during duties.
Organisational Commitment:
- Uphold GLDS values, policies, and service agreements with external providers.
- Promote effective communication within the team.
- Participate in performance appraisals and professional development.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records including client notes, communication books, and reports.
- Support data collection and reporting processes in line with organisational standards.
Team Involvement:
- Attend meetings, supervision, and training as directed.
- Perform shift duties as rostered.
- Assist with other tasks and special duties when required
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.00 – $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week

- Certificate I - IV (Required)
Experience:
- support worker: 1 year (Required)

- Full Driver Licence (Required)
