About the Role
This casual role is based in Emerald, supporting individuals with disabilities in a 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) home, with some community access as needed. Support ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3. You'll be part of a friendly, professional team assisting customers with daily living tasks and routines.
We’re ideally seeking team members with full availability, including early starts from 6:00 AM, and the flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including active overnight shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care, domestic duties, and medication
- Supporting customers to attend appointments and access the community
- Preparing meals and maintaining a safe, clean home environment
- Encouraging independence and building daily living skills
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate records and reports
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine desire to support people with disabilities and make a positive impact
- No prior experience needed — just a willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts (from 6:00 AM) and active overnight shifts
Requirements
- Valid drivers licence (P2 or open class)
- Senior First Aid and CPR certificate
- NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
- Blue card (working with children check)
