Female Disability Support Workers – Complex Needs – Ipswich and Surrounds
Sunflower Hub is seeking experienced female support workers to join our team in Ipswich and surrounding areas. This role involves supporting participants with complex needs in Supported Independent Living (SILS) environments, providing high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
About the Role
You will work closely with participants who require complex physical and behavioural support. The role includes assistance with personal care, daily living tasks, and community access. Experience with hoist use and manual handling is essential.
Due to the personal care requirements of some participants, this position is only open to female applicants in accordance with Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).

What We’re Looking For
- Female support workers with at least one year of experience in disability care
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Experience with hoists and complex care
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, First Aid and CPR
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Availability for weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
