Engaging and dynamic quadraplegic gentleman who requires dedicated support workers to join their team in Bayswater.
Permanent shifts we need to fill: You must be able to do 4-7 shifts a week - plus occasional leave cover shifts:
- Monday 11.30pm - 01.30am - Put to Bed Shift
- Tuesday 11.30pm - 01.30am - Put to Bed Shift
- Wednesday 11.30pm - 01.30am - Put to bed Shift
- Thursday 11.30pm - 01.30am - Put to Bed Shift
- Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm - Morning Personal Care Shift - bowel routine alt days
- Friday 7.00pm - 9.00pm - Dinner Shift
- Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm - Morning Personal Care Shift - bowel routine alt days
- Saturday 7.00pm - 9.00pm - Dinner Shift
- Saturday 11.30pm - 01.30am - Put To Bed Shift
- Sunday 11.30pm - 01.30am - Put To Bed Shift
We also have other clients that will need similar shifts on the same days, which if you pick up, will allow you to receive the SHADS split shift allowance.
As Elba Incorporated is a not for profit organisation, support workers employed can Salary Sacrifice up to $15,000 a year tax free.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Personal hygiene, grooming and presentation; bathing and brushing teeth
- Bladder & Bowel Care - Suppositories (training provided) - Alt Bowel Days
- Catherter Care (training provided)
- Community outings - appointments, shopping etc (car and valid drivers licence required)
- Hoisting or slide board to assist in transferring to and from bed to commode, wheelchair.
