- This role is permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight

- This role requires you to be available to work a range of hours from 9:00am – 10:00pm, weekdays and weekends.
- You also have the availability to work 3 out of every 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
- Engaging and assisting customers in understanding their needs and actively selling the IKEA range.
- Preparing furniture warehouse sales spaces for replenishment by condensing stock using lifting techniques, pallet jacks and other appropriate manual handling equipment on a regular basis.
- Being an IKEA product and service expert - learning about product features and benefits and using the relevant IT systems to be able to provide accurate information, and book orders and services.
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
- Assembling IKEA products according to proper assembly methods and instructions to ensure complete functionality and strong presentation.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Passionate about home furnishings and sharing the IKEA product and service range features and benefits with customers.
- An authentic approach in actively selling and self-motivated to meeting sales and warehouse efficiency targets.
- You prioritise safe work practices and you are comfortable with a physical workload and very regular manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, you listen to understand the customer's needs and build strong relationships with customers, your team, and other departments.
- A keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills - always with the customer in mind. You seek to improve and simplify ways of working wherever it makes sense.
- Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range, tools, and systems.
