Job Description
ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking qualified Dogmen and Riggers to share their expertise within our transmission line discipline.
Successful candidates must be local to the Central-West Orana region and be willing to drive to Merotherie each day and work overtime including weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe handling, movement, and storage of transmission line materials and equipment
- Carrying of safety checks on slings, chains and hooks
- Attaching lifting gear to loads including slings, shackles, spreader bars
- Calculating load weight to ensure safe lifting
- Assisting with assembly and erection of transmission structures
- Storing and stacking materials in warehouse to prevent damages
- Spotting and communicating with crane truck drivers and warehouse personnel
- General labouring activities and assisting trades
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in transmission lines highly desirable
- High Risk Work License for rigging and dogging (RB or RI and DG)
- Construction white card
- Full C class driver’s license at minimum
- Own vehicle
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
- Exceptional communication skills and safety standards
