Provenance Wines is now offering the opportunity to join our Front of House team in a full-time Duty Manager position, with the successful applicant having the potential to develop into a more senior role.
At Provenance Wines lunch service consists of a highly seasonal, local, and ethical a la carte menu incorporating a strong wine focus. Evening hours are filled with large events and beautiful weddings, with Provenance Wines being voted the "Geelong's Best Wedding Venue" according to the Geelong Advertiser. The wine used in-house is also produced onsite with the winery attached to the barrel lined venue space.
The roles and responsibilities of the Duty Manager:
- Wine tastings with clientele
- Conducting lunch service
- Assisting the management and coordination of events and weddings
- Aiding the training of casual staff members
- Use and maintenance of POS software
Provenance has three full time sommeliers employed in different roles looking to help develop the palates of all staff, including you. We also work minimal nights with no split shifts.
