Primary objective
Develop and maintain an analytics framework to identify and mitigate psychosocial, physical and mental health risks within the Northern Territory
Police workforce, supporting the Early Intervention Project under the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services Wellbeing Strategy
2023-2027.

Context statement
The Early Intervention Coordinator will play a vital role in delivering the Early Intervention Program (EIP), combining emotional intelligence, data
analysis, and technical expertise with the IAPro suite of programs. This role supports proactive wellbeing interventions by using data-driven
insights to enhance workforce resilience. By managing analytical processes that identify risk and inform strategy, the coordinator helps embed
wellbeing into our organisational culture.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Develop and implement frameworks using IAPro, EIPro and Blue Team databases to enable proactive wellbeing interventions, ensuring these

tools are optimally utilised to monitor employee wellbeing and predict potential issues.
2. Regularly analyse data to identify patterns and trends that signal risks or areas needing intervention. Use predictive modelling to pinpoint at-

risk individuals, teams or business units within the NTP workforce.
3. Critically analyse complex issues, identify risks, and clearly articulate solutions, in relation to employee mental health, physical hard or

psychosocial hazards.
4. Influence, negotiate and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including supervisors, employees and support services.
5. Examine risks associated with cumulative exposure to trauma and analysis of data associated with same.
6. Respond flexibly and positively in a high-pressure environment characterised by ongoing change, uncertainty and a high volume of cases.
7. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement technology-driven solutions to enhance the effectiveness of Wellbeing

programs.
8. Manage exposure to highly sensitive and confronting matters related to employee wellbeing and intervention cases, demonstrating emotional

resilience and professionalism.

Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing sophisticated data analytics frameworks, with proficiency in using tools such as IAPro,

EIPro and Blue Team or similar.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey complex data insights and influence decision-making

processes across diverse audiences.
3. Ability to research complex issues; collate, analyse, and interpret information, including data; evaluate options and prepare appropriate advice,

reports, and recommendations to senior management.
4. Demonstrate high level of autonomy in resolving multifaceted issues, employing discernment, and conducting thorough analyses to address

operational, technical, or service-related challenges.
5. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and tailor style, language and mode

of delivery to convey or explain system processes and concepts clearly across a range of audiences.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility in thinking and sensitivity to cross-cultural dynamics.

Desirable
1. Proficiency (or the ability to become proficient) in the use of NTP systems; IAPro, BlueTeam and EIPro.
2. Diploma or degree in Governance, Business, Project Management, Information Technology, Criminology or Policing.
