ORS is proud to launch our brand-new Inclusive Employment Australia – Mental Health Specialist division. We are seeking passionate, motivated, and high-performing Employment Consultants to support participants living with mental health conditions into meaningful, sustainable employment.

About the Role
As an Employment Consultant, you will manage a caseload of participants with mental health disability and provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers them to achieve their employment goals.
You will:
- Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model — the world’s most evidence-based approach to employment for people with mental illness.
- Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
- Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
- Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with NDIS and community providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants’ wellbeing.
- Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Celebrate participant achievements and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term success.

What You Will Need
- A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
- Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their supports and employers.
- Business development skills and local employer connections (highly regarded).
- Current driver’s licence and your own vehicle.
- Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
