Engineering Applications Analyst (Up to 10 month temporary opportunity)

In this role, you'll:
You will be responsible for supporting over 4,000 users across the business, with a strong focus on the CAD platform and engineering applications used by disciplines such as civil, track, and electrical.
As a key member of the team, you'll work to customise and streamline these tools to improve performance and efficiency.
You'll also be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring they’re resolved promptly while delivering a high standard of customer service.
The role involves working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including CAD designers from engineering consultancies, to review drawings and maintain quality and consistency across all outputs.

About you
You will have extensive experience using CAD MicroStation and preferably have some 3D experience.
You will have knowledge of project management principles, preferably in IT or CAD specific projects and will have experience in one of more of the following programming languages: VB, VBA, XML and HTML.
Experience in a specific discipline such as civil will be advantageous in this role.
This is a temporary part time role where the team currently go to the office twice weekly.
