HSE Systems Specialist
Maternity Secondment - Any Hyne Group Location
We are seeking expressions of interest for a HSE Systems Specialist to join our HSE team on a 12-month maternity secondment, from July 2025 to July 2026.

This position can be based at any of our office or operations within Hyne Group.
This role will play a key part in supporting Hyne Group’s commitment to safety excellence by ensuring our HSE Management Systems are fit for purpose, effectively implemented, and continuously improved. It is critical to enabling and sustaining a high-performing HSE culture across the business.

KEY OUTCOMES

All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
A ‘be of service’ attitude and operating manner is shown in everything that you are involved in to support quality working relationships and deliverables.
Our safety culture and performance is continuously improved through effective capacity and capability development of our people and HSE Management Systems.
Our safety data and HSE Systems are maintained to a high standard (e.g. Damstra – HSE Management Software, InfoSafe, SharePoint and Excel)
Data from the HSE reporting system, Safety Program initiatives, and legislative and compliance changes, are analysed to provide accurate insight to support leadership decision making.
Information management and document control processes are developed and maintained to ensure the HSE communications, data and records are effective, accessible and retained in line with compliance obligations.

ABOUT YOU:
You are organised, detail-focused, and take pride in keeping information accurate and well-managed.
You are comfortable working with data, supporting regular reporting activities, and using tools like Excel to help present information clearly and reliably.
You are willing to learn new systems such as Vault, SharePoint, and other HSE platforms, and you bring a proactive mindset to getting the job done right.
You approach your work with a ‘be of service’ attitude, building strong relationships and contributing positively to team goals.
Your ability to manage documents, support compliance, and communicate effectively helps ensure the HSE team runs smoothly and supports a strong safety culture across the business.
