As an Evaporator Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be responsible for operating the Juice Circuit encompassing Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators, and associated equipment.

This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season (June - December), including weekends and overtime and day work during the maintenance period (Jan - May).
Your Role in Action
- Smooth Operator: Monitor the Juice Circuit (including but not limited to Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators and associated equipment) to ensure crushing of the cane is efficient and productive.
- Collaboration Crew: Work closely with the shift team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
- Clear & Concise: Provide regular and accurate feedback to Mill management on station performance and quality issues.
- Safety Guardian: Show a strong commitment to safety.
Your Winning Combination
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (including familiarity communicating via UHF) and demonstrable ability to work alongside a range of different people. Basic mechanical skills will be highly regarded.
While the following qualifications are requirements in this role, training will be considered for people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:

- Working at Heights
- Additional skills that are highly regarded for the maintenance period include: Trade Qualifications and Rigger, Dogger and Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences.
