Churches of Christ is on the lookout for a dynamic Event Lead to take charge of our event calendar and lead the delivery of high-impact experiences that connect, inspire, and engage. From internal celebrations to strategic networking and promotional events, you’ll be the driving force behind it all.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the calendar – Plan and deliver a diverse range of internal and external events.
- Lead the charge – Manage end-to-end event execution, from concept to wrap-up.
- Be the go-to expert – Provide consultancy to internal teams to align events with brand and strategy.
- Build connections – Foster relationships with stakeholders and partners, and manage sponsorships.
- Drive improvement – Analyse event outcomes and continuously raise the bar.
- Travel - some local SEQ travel required.
- Events - run Monday to Friday within standard business hours!
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Events, Marketing, Business or similar.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role (bonus points for not-for-profit experience).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A knack for problem-solving, innovation, and delivering results.
- A current driver’s licence and relevant checks (Police, COVID-19, Influenza).
