Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for an Event Operations Coordinator to join our Precinct and Partner Activations teams to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from November to February 2026.

  • Managing logistics such as deliveries, equipment, crew, accreditation, and warehouse inventory to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project status, budgets, invoices, compliance records, and post-event evaluations.
  • Building strong relationships and acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, partners, contractors, and external agencies.
  • Delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget, with strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Proven experience in event operations, including OHS, logistics, production, theming, partner activations, and brand execution within a major event environment.
  • Strong technical and administrative skills, including the ability to read build drawings, manage budgets and timelines, and produce high-quality spreadsheets, schedules, and presentations using Microsoft Office and project software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and a professional, solution-focused attitude.
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia

What’s to love?
  • Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunities
  • Tickets to the Australian Open
  • Monthly health & wellbeing activities with access to CorePlus Pilates
  • Onsite gym, tennis facilities & free onsite car parking
