About The Company:

We are proudly owned by Auto & General Insurance Company. The A&G group is made up of trusted and well-known brands such as iSelect, Compare the Market and Budget Direct. In late 2024, iSelect and Compare the Market formed a new aggregation business within the A&G group that continues to support millions of Australians to compare and buy their personal finance, and household products such as insurance, energy, and loans.

About The Role

Are you ready to elevate your career to the next level? Compare the Market and iSelect are looking for an organised and proactive Executive Assistant. In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting our C-suite executives, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication across the organisation. You’ll have the opportunity to drive efficiency and enhance executive productivity, while contributing to strategic initiatives and organisational priorities.

As the Executive Assistant, you will be the go-to person for managing schedules, preparing executive-level reports, and coordinating critical meetings and events. You'll play a vital role in fostering strong relationships, both internally and externally, and in supporting leadership to focus on what matters most—driving business success.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to C-suite executives, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate high-stakes meetings, travel arrangements, and executive events with precision.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items for leadership and cross-functional meetings.
  • Assist in the preparation of executive presentations, reports, and briefing documents for internal and external audiences.
  • Track and compile data to support decision-making and performance reporting.
  • Act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Manage expense reporting and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Support other Executive Assistants during leave periods, ensuring continuity of executive support.
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed, maintaining a polished and professional presence.
  • Monitor deadlines, track deliverables, and proactively ensure follow-through on executive priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting two C-suite executives.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Proficiency in calendar management, travel coordination and drafting board papers.
  • Experience in managing meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action items in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • A professional demeanour with the capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Our Benefits

At Compare the Market, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment where your talents will be recognised and rewarded. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to our continued success. As well as ample opportunities for growth and development, we also provide:

  • A vibrant and social community with annual celebrations, family fun days, and regular events.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including the option of one day working from home each week or a 9-day fortnight.
  • Additional leave days – ‘ME’ leave and ‘Volunteer Day’ leave.
  • Study support (up to 50% of tuition fees for relevant courses) and professional membership reimbursement.
  • Employee discounts on Car, Home, and Travel insurance.
Income protection insurance for non-work-related illness or injury.
Discounts with a broad range of providers, including gym memberships, accommodation, dental care, and more.

Compare the Market and iSelect is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we encourage all applicants to apply. We acknowledge that we are strengthened by diversity.

Please note that this role is only available to candidates with unlimited Australian working rights, as sponsorship is not available.

We politely ask recruiters to refrain from making unsolicited approaches or sending resumes to our Recruitment Team or Hiring Leaders. Compare the Market Australia and iSelect are not responsible for fees related to unsolicited resumes.
