Description

We're looking for a sharp, proactive Executive Assistant to join Contour in a newly-created role supporting both Co-Founders. As a trusted right (or left!) hand, you’ll play a key part in streamlining operations, managing fast-moving priorities, coordinating internal events, and leveraging smart tools (including AI) to boost efficiency. If you love bringing order to chaos, thrive in high-growth environments, and want to work side-by-side with visionary leaders, this is your opportunity to make a real impact at a business reshaping education.

Who are we

We empower students
and their studies by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions at our in-person campuses, presented by young and experienced tutors that teach in a simple, intuitive and engaging way. We also supplement these sessions with weekly workshops, complimentary 1-on-1 support and a learning portal with a comprehensive suite of resources and practice material to help students master their subjects.

Over 8,000 students and 250+ team members have joined Contour Education
since our founding in the beginning of 2020. Our growth is a testament to our dedication in providing ALL our students and parents with a premium learning experience (from 24/7 personal support to on-demand resources) and our commitment to helping them achieve their personal goals, and achieve success in their school assessments and exams. We've been listed three years in a row as one of the Fastest Growing Startups by the Australian Financial Review, and we're continuing to multiply year over year!

It's our vision to reshape education, one student at a time.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support
    • Manage both Co-Founders’ calendars, travel, and daily priorities to maximise strategic time.
    • Proactively triage communications, flag critical issues, and ensure timely responses across channels.
    • Draft and refine internal and external communications, presentations, and briefing documents.
  • Project & Event Coordination
    • Plan and execute internal events including team offsites, strategy days, and stakeholder meetings.
    • Coordinate across teams to support delivery of founder-led initiatives and cross-functional priorities.
  • AI & Productivity Enablement
    • Identify and implement digital tools—including AI platforms (e.g. Notion AI, ChatGPT, automation tools)—to support the Co-Founders’ workflows.
    • Drive adoption of AI solutions that improve scheduling, documentation, and communication processes.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Represent the Co-Founders in communications with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Build relationships and trust across departments, partners, and vendors.
  • Administrative & Operational Excellence
    • Implement repeatable, scalable systems for task management, filing, reporting, and meeting prep.
    • Anticipate needs and act independently to keep the Co-Founders focused on high-impact priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Executive Organisation
Strong calendar, inbox, and task management across multiple leaders with complex schedules.
  • Communication Mastery
Polished and professional verbal and written communication across all levels.
  • AI & Tech Fluency
Confident and curious about using digital and AI tools to drive executive productivity.
  • Event Planning
Exceptional skills in logistics, coordination, and stakeholder engagement for high-quality internal events.
  • Discretion & Trust
Handles sensitive and strategic matters with complete confidentiality and reliability.

  • Strong written communication skills and demonstrated organisational capability are essential, regardless of formal education pathway.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, productivity platforms, and digital workflows will be highly valued, whether self-taught or learned through formal study.
