About Us

The Integrity, Regulation and Legal Services (IRLS) group supports the Attorney-General, other DJCS Ministers and the department by providing legal, policy, integrity and assurance expertise. We work collaboratively with key entities across the justice system and the department to ensure our work is strategic, relevant, holistic and people centred.

The group has a broad range of responsibilities, including legal advice and services coordination, departmental integrity functions, legal policy and stakeholder management in the integrity, major crime, liquor and gaming spaces and liquor and tobacco licencing and regulation.

Integrity Policy and Performance supports the Attorney General in her role as the Minister responsible for Victoria's integrity system, provides whole-of-Victorian-government policy leadership on integrity and oversight, privacy and information sharing issues, and supports the operation of integrity agencies within the Victorian Government.

The Major Crime, Informants and Investigative Powers team is responsible for delivering priority reforms for government, including implementing the recommendations of reviews into Victoria's investigative powers laws, supporting and co-ordinating the Government's response to the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants, and coordinating broad reviews of other key legislative schemes as required by the Attorney-General or by statute.

About the Role

The Executive Assistant role will lead the provision of high-quality, confidential business, administrative and executive support to the Executive Director, Integrity Policy, Performance and Major Crimes and to the executive team, including diary and email management, stakeholder liaison, relevant office functions and the tracking of key deliverables such as correspondence and briefs.

About You

As our ideal candidate you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in office management and executive support to senior executives within a highly sensitive and complex environment.
