About the Business Unit:
The Office of the Public Advocate (OPA) is an independent statutory office accountable to the Victorian Parliament which has been established to protect the rights of, and enhance the position of, people with disabilities in Victoria. About the Role:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level confidential administrative and business support to the Public Advocate and Deputy Public Advocate.
Some of your duties will include:
- Diary and email management, meeting coordination, management of correspondence and briefs, and stakeholder liaison
- Providing executive support to the Public Advocate and Deputy Public Advocate in the preparation of presentations and agendas, acting as minute secretary and facilitating follow-up action
- Arranging meetings and conferences, including liaison with senior executives and government officials coordinating papers, organising venues, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions and making travel and accommodation arrangements.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in office management and executive support to senior executives within a highly sensitive and complex environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyse issues and determine priorities in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines, to take initiative and work under limited direction
- Extensive skill and experience using Office 365 suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint) and an electronicdocument management system.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification or Office administration qualification (minimum Certificate IV)
