As the Executive Officer (Animal Ethics), you'll lead a small team to ensure efficient and compliant operations of Animal Ethics Committees. You'll provide expert advice on policy, governance, and regulatory matters, while designing and delivering end-to-end processes for animal ethics applications. This role offers you the opportunity to develop key stakeholder relationships and contribute to the university's research ethics landscape.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Animal Ethics Administration: Manage a team to deliver robust processes for animal ethics applications and submissions.

  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer high-quality guidance on policy, governance, and regulatory compliance to researchers and committees.

  • Develop and Coach Team Members: Foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement within your team.

  • Build Strategic Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and key stakeholders in the Animal Care and Use Program.
