Your role
An opportunity currently exists for a Facilities & Asset Coordinator to join our amazing team based in Bassendean on a permanent, part-time basis, working 25 hours per week. Ideally 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Reporting to the Facilities, Asset & Projects Manager, this role supports operations in ensuring our facilities and assets are fit for purpose, professionally presented and are maintained to ensure safety for staff and customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinate repairs and maintenance of accommodation in a timely manner to ensure safety and wellbeing of staff and customers.
- Provide first level support for operations with regards to office accommodation issues and works required.
- Ensure a planned preventative maintenance program is maintained for all office equipment and assets.
- Monitor the lifecycle of property assets, ensuring equipment is maintained and replacements budgeted for.
- Co-ordinate all third-party contractors, ensuring their compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the Facilities, Asset & Projects Manager and Chief Financial Officer on renewal of leases and tenancy agreements.
- Procure and coordinate the supply of office furniture as required.
- Ensure all property records are maintained and kept up-to-date.
- Oversee all fleet vehicle agreements, ensuring all policies are adhered to.
- Facilitate the monitoring and service of all office security systems.
What makes you the right candidate?
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project coordination, logistics or property management role.
- A proven ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Have a strong understanding of tenancy agreements and an understanding of change management.
- The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy to deliver agreed outcomes, tasks and projects
- A strong customer service focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and sound reasoning skills.
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated initiative and drive.
- Strong computer literacy with familiarity with CAD software and MS Office suite.
- Experience with either BMS, Project Management or Logistics is desirable
- Experience managing multiple properties at one time desirable
