Illawarra Coatings manufactures a range of Waterbased and Solventfree Epoxy Coatings, Penetrating Sealers, Concrete Densifiers and UV Cured Coatings.
Due to continued growth and increase in demand, we are seeking to employ additional Process Workers to join the team at our Appin manufacturing facility.
To be successful you must have the following experience/attributes;
- Solid work history within a production environment.
- Experience in paint mixing or related field preferred but not essential.
- Manual handling experience with Safety focus at all times.
- High work ethics and self-discipline.
- Experience in repetitive process work with the ability to lift up to 25kg.
- The ability to work unsupervised following initial training.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- A valid forklift license is essential for this position.
Duties include (but not limited to);
- Warehousing operations including strapping and wrapping of product for delivery
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- Meeting daily production targets
- Completing batch card documentation and administration requirements
- Mixing/blending operations
- Working in accordance with the manufacturing spec and batch card requirements
This is a full time permanent role following a satisfactory probation period and a salary package commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Availability to work Day and/or Afternoon shift is preferred but not essential.
Your own transport is required as our facility is not easily accessible via public transport.
