We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Field Area Manager, reporting into the Region Manager of the Western Australia Field Operations Team.
A bit about your role
As the Field Services Area Manager you will lead a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Customer Field Technicians and Senior Field Technicians that are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of customer experience. The team are responsible for all field activities across network and service elements related to the day-to-day operation of the NBN Co network within a defined area.
Importantly, you will ensure all work is completed in a manner that is compliant to relevant HS&E, quality and technical standards and does not expose employees, customer, the public or the environment at unacceptable risk. This includes conducting QA and coaching activities where necessary with IWF and DP’s across all standards with respect to connect, assure & build
The role will see you Drive a strong customer experience and related KPIs including On the day, Right First Time, Re rolls within 10 days, New Service Never worked, Network restoration, Network Acceptance and Build Quality (QI), providing input, support and resources for Adds, Moves and Changes in the define area.
A bit about you
You're a proven leader with an enterprise mindset and a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards. With experience in telecommunications or technical services, you've led operations or engineering teams across service delivery, construction, or restoration, often spanning multiple technologies.
You bring solid operational management experience in telecoms, civils, or similar environments, and know how to build and lead commercially focused teams while delivering outstanding customer service.
Autonomous and influential, you make sound decisions and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
