About the Role:
- Provide leadership and advice to site management on Health, Safety, and Environment processes and systems.
- Liaise continually with PM, PE, SM and/or Site Superintendents through site communication processes to facilitate consistent site Health, Safety, Environment and Training compliance.
- Report all HSET incidents, accidents and near misses to the HSET Manager.
- Provide training as may be required in accordance with Eastern Guruma’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
- Ensure delivery of all Health, Safety and Environment project plans. Support audits for Health, Safety, Environment and Training.
- Deliver document and version control of Health, Safety and Environment material.
- Provide input into process and procedure review for all Health, Safety, Environment and Training Systems.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of training and assessment records for the Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
- Minimum 3 years of progressive Health & Safety experience within facilities management, mining or civil earthworks projects.
- Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (at least 40116)
- Completed Incident Investigation qualification (ICAM) qualification
- Current WA manual driver's licence.
- In-depth knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and industry regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Experience in conducting ICAM investigations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
- Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
- Able to obtain a National Police Check
