Eloura is currently seeking Full Time Finance Administrator to join our team of passionate employees.
As our financial administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating all of our financial and accounting activities. Your day-to-day tasks and duties include:
· Determine, implement, monitor, review and evaluate budgetary and expenditure in consultation with management team and external accounting firm;
· Provide financial information and assisting in interpreting the implications for QCS;
· Monitor cash flow on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and providing advice and support to General Manager and team leaders;
· Budget preparations for team leaders;
· Provision of budget updates to Team Leaders on a monthly basis;
· Oversee the recording and maintenance of capital acquisitions in fixed asset register;
· Prepare Monthly Capex vs Budget;
· Run Quarterly BAS reports;
· Prepare Quarterly Financial Report;
· Prepare and submit ACFR data to R & M in line with reporting requirements - in collaboration with HR and GM;
· Prepare and provide document to auditing firm in line with requests at interim for Annual financial audit + Prudential Audit + ACFR;
· In collaboration with admissions officer, prepare contract and ensure contractual obligations are adhered to;
· Ensure prudential requirements are met for new residents who pay a RAD;
· Ensure annual prudential reports are prepared and provided to GM and financial management team.
Skills and Experience
· Comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care funding mechanism
· Qualification in accounting, business or finance and/or five years relevant work experience
· Attention to detail;
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience and understanding of budget preparation and monitoring of cash flow.
· Experience in resident billing and reconciliation of bank accounts.
· Experience completing quarterly BAS reports
· Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the principles and practices of risk management and the relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage workload.
· Current police check or willingness to obtain
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
