Firesafe Group Pty Ltd are a leading provider of fire protection systems to the Construction, Mining, Resources and Government sectors in both Western Australia, Victoria and Internationally.

The role
Firesafe are looking for an Fire Protection Equipment Technician to install, test and maintain fire protection equipment on a full time basis.
Duties / Responsibilities
· Complete various cabling, fire detection and emergency warning system installations
· Check and test all works and have complete installation sign off
· Support the project teams to capture and monitor project requirements, ensuring key milestones are achieved and performance to objectives is achieved.
· Completion of required ITR’s & ITP’s and QA documentation in accordance with Firesafe Project Management Plans
· Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and all stakeholders
· Identify, monitor and respond to project risk
· Build sound working relationships with all direct reports, peers and internal service providers
· Cultivate individual talent and provide mentorship to emerging talent
· Return appropriate commissioning paperwork (completed correctly & legible)
Skills and Experience
- Installation of Fire alarm and EWIS Systems including ASD experience
- Ability to provide commissioning assistance, and/or System configuration
- An understanding of Australian Standards, Fire Alarm –Electrical systems knowledge
- High standards of HSEQ compliance for self and encourage others to do the same
- Ability to work autonomously
- Inner city and surrounding areas fit outs, expansions, and new installations.
- Open Cable Licence
- Construction White Card
- EWP & High-Risk licence
- Clean valid manual drivers’ licence
- Electrical Licence - preferred
- FPAS Accreditation – preferred
- Cert II in Fire Protection – preferred
- Professional demeanour with good communication

Pay: $75,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
