The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Lecturer, Warragul, Monash Rural Health Research the focus of the First Nations Community Liaison will be to to inform policy, influence clinical practice, contribute to research knowledge and strengthen community-led solutions for new models of cancer and palliative care for First Nations people in Gippsland.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for liaising with Community to develop better ways to deliver medication education and care to support people with cancer taking oral chemotherapy and building culturally safe partnerships in cancer and palliative care.
The appointee will have:
- A degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or
- extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
- an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
