About the role:

Reporting to the Territory Manager, this role is a floating position which requires you to be flexible in travelling to other depots to relief or if additional support is required based on operational needs. You will be responsible for customer service, order processing, reporting, stock management, administration and completion of routine depot compliance tasks. In addition, a portion of the role will require to delivery lubricants products within the region which includes establishing rapport and maintaining our relationship to our existing customer base. This role is on dayshift Monday to Friday.


You will play an important role as part of a wider team across a network of depots within the region, working with the fleet coordinator, drivers and other depot operations coordinators to deliver safe, reliable and competitive outcomes for our customers. This is a busy and varied role offering breadth and scope, with opportunities for learning and development into other roles. This role is a great stepping stone into the wider Ampol business.


Key responsibilities.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers of the depot including responding to customer queries, generate quotes, recording sales and managing ongoing orders
  • Flexible to travel to other depots
  • Completion of day-to- day administrative duties to support the depot
  • Receipting, warehousing, reconciliation, dispatch and delivery of packaged lubricants products
  • Steward health, safety and wellbeing across all depot activities
  • Completion of routine depot compliance, maintenance and inspection tasks
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Territory Manager

About you:

You are an experienced professional in a similar role who thrives working in a team environment. You display a ‘can do’ attitude, self-motivated and always willing to take on a challenge. You have a strong focus and passion in providing a high level of service to Customers. You have a high focus on safety and compliance and understand the importance of our customers.


Skills and experience:

  • Forklift licence is a desirable (not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Customer service and stock control/management experience
  • Understanding of safe work practices and transport/logistics
  • Experience in dangerous goods/ petroleum industry is desirable however not mandatory.
