CIBI is seeking a passionate Front of House Manager. If you have a love for hospitality and an interest in design and Japanese culture, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will do much more than just manage the front of house team; you'll collaborate with our retail, events, and marketing teams in Melbourne and Tokyo to drive progress.

We’re looking for someone who:
Has 2+ years of leadership experience in a high-service-quality environment- Has managed and motivated teams of 5 or more staff
- Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and leads by example with professionalism and care
- Is passionate about team development, training, and delivering outstanding service
- Has strong operational management skills — rostering, financial oversight, and driving team performance
- Enjoys fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and community spirit
- Has an interest in Japanese food and culture (a bonus, not essential)
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, mentoring, and developing the FOH team- Ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experience
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
- Driving team engagement and maintaining a positive workplace culture
- Collaborating with other managers on sales, events, and business growth
- Managing financial targets including wages, COGS, and budgeting
- Upholding compliance, safety, and sustainability standards
