Head of Commercial is a leadership role responsible for managing all FOH operations and driving the commercial performance of the business.
The Head of Commercial is responsible for leading all FOH operational aspects of To be Frank.
The Head of Commercial will work closely with the Head of Operations, Head of Finance and the Managing Director to achieve To be Frank’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
People
* Provide leadership and direction to To Be Frank managers and staff.
* Foster a positive values-aligned culture that promotes teamwork, open communication, and continuous
improvement.
* Implement training and development that increases the capability of To be Frank’s staff.
* Assist direct reports with any people issues that arise.
Strategic Planning
* Work with the Head of Operations, Head of Finance and Managing Director to develop and execute To be
Frank’s strategic plan.
* Identify new growth opportunities, assess market trends, and make recommendations for business
development and expansion.
* Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
FOH Operations
* Oversee the daily operations of FOH across both locations.
* Ensure staff provide a high level of customer service to all To be Frank customers;
* Liaise with Head of Operations and Head Pastry Chef to manage stock quantities within the
bakery;
* Communicate customer feedback with the Head of Operations and Head Pastry Chef on the
popularity of products and any quality concerns;
* Execute quality control and disregard products that do not meet To be Franks standard of quality;
* Support staff to manage and execute wholesales orders (including packing);
* Communicate information and any changes to the team;
* Ensure locations are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times;
* Ensure packaging and consumable stocks levels are maintained, including crockery;
Compliance
* Ensuring compliance with To be Frank’s guidelines and procedures;
* Support the legal compliance of the bakery in particular, but not limited to adherence to WH&S, Food
Safety, including allergen training and food poisoning allegations.
Events & Brand Management
* Act as the key custodian of any To be Frank events, including negotiating event selection or
attendance, runsheets, event operations and commercial terms;
* Protect and enhance the To be Frank brand through effective marketing and brand management
strategies;
* Collaborate with the Head of Operations, Head of Finance and Managing Director to implement
marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
