The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa is an iconic tourist destination and award winning spa located in the heart of Australia's Spa Capital nestled in the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve near Daylesford 90 minutes from Melbourne.
Our Hepburn Pavilion Cafe is conveniently located within the surroundings of the bathhouse and spa to entice our guests with a delicious range of products and even more amazing coffee !
The Role
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Chef de Partie to support kitchen operations across both café service and events. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, this hands-on role involves preparing and cooking food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth, efficient service.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard across café and event menus Maintain a clean and organised kitchen at all times
- Follow kitchen systems and procedures for prep, service, and closing Uphold all food safety and hygiene requirements
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation
- Work efficiently across hot and cold sections during service Requirements Proven experience as a cook or CDP in a café or catering environment
- Must hold a valid Food Safety Certificate
- Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings

- Ability to be flexible during the centre's peak periods
- Best in class customer service skills
Essentials:
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR
- Current Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Food Handling Certificate
- Legally entitled to work in Australia
