Shangri-La Sydney is looking for skilled Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our Lobby Lounge team.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensures compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and SFSMS standards, including maintaining records and cleaning schedules.
- Monitors staff performance, and grooming; conducts training and prepares rosters based on operational needs.
- Oversees inventory control, approves requisitions, and monitors expenses in line with budgeted costs.
- Maintains stock levels, attends F&B meetings, and submits reports and requests according to hotel policies.
- Delivers high service standards through regular quality checks, cleanliness oversight, and equipment maintenance coordination.
- coordination. supervises daily operations, supports the team, performs F&B attendant duties, manages guest interactions, and handles complaints per hotel protocol.
About you:
- Experience in hotel, restaurant or cafe environments.
- Customer service experience in a similar setting
- Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in as Food & Beverage Team Leader.
- Understanding of workplace practices in Work Health and Safety Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
