The Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for passionate and highly motivated Forest Supervisors to join our Fire and Stewardship division in Tumut. As the Forest Supervisor, you will provide key operational and firefighting leadership within the region

About the role:
This role is responsible for executing a variety of forest management activities within the designated forest area. To ensure that forest operations, including road maintenance and construction, pest animal and weed control, hazard reduction burning, firefighting and recreation area maintenance are carried out for the Region in a safe, effective and productive manner to established legislative, environmental and safety standards.


We would love you to have/be:
• Self-driven, motivated, and able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Understanding of fire tanker operation and forest operations maintenance skills.
• Availability on weekends and for a rostered schedule
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and apply new technologies to your work
• Demonstrated skills or experience in forestry, farming, outdoor or construction works
• Strong ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Effectively follow verbal and written instructions
• Must have or be prepared to obtain a current MR driver’s licence
