Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Bakery Retail Assistant to join our front-of-house team. You will be responsible for serving customers, handling transactions, restocking displays, and maintaining cleanliness in the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers in a professional and welcoming manner
- Provide product information and assist with customer selections
- Operate the cash register and EFTPOS machine accurately
- Keep display shelves stocked, clean, and visually appealing
- Package and label products as required
- Maintain cleanliness of front counter and customer area
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic cash handling or POS experience (preferred but not essential)
- Punctual, responsible, and well-presented
- Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week (across both shift types)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.95 – $25.00 per hour

Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
