About the opportunity
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and confident Front of House Supervisor to join the team at the Chau Chak Wing Museum. This is a key operational role with responsibility for overseeing all front of house activity — including visitor services, security, and retail — during weekend openings. As the most senior staff member on site, you will be in charge of the building, leading a team and ensuring the safety and smooth running of daily operations for staff, visitors, facilities, and the Museum’s collections.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic public-facing environment and brings strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills. You will play a central role in delivering a welcoming and safe visitor experience while managing the logistical needs of daily programs, events, group tours, school visits, and retail operations. About you
- demonstrates experience in leading front of house operations for a museum, gallery, retail, hospitality or live performance venue
- outstanding customer service skills
- works autonomously with the ability to think analytically
- effective communicator across all stakeholder levels
- experience in facilities management including security, building condition, cleanliness, and emergency procedures.
