SC1 Proven experience in providing high-quality reception and administrative support in a school, or similar environment, delivered with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude.

SC3 Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively within a team environment with members of the school community including students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
SC4 Demonstrated high level of organisational skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritise workflow, along with the ability to work to and meet deadlines.
SC5 Demonstrated proficiency in systems relevant to the role, preferably including CASES21 Administration and Finance, Compass, AIMS, PAL, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development to achieve effective outcomes.
Role
An education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students but must not include duties of a teacher as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students can be required individually or in groups up to 4 in controlled circumstances and where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.
Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Provide routine reception and administrative responsibilities including assisting with telephone, email, and face to face enquiries, deliveries, and stock control.
- Maintain and process school-related data electronically across various areas, including enrolments, creditor payments, sundry debtor invoicing, AIMS, events, and hire enquiries, using Department of Education and third-party systems. Our team operates in a fully digital environment, collaborating effectively and completing tasks without the need for printing.
- Assist in coordinating internal and external school event bookings.
- Assist in the effective delivery of a range of general administrative services across the school.
- Undertake First Aid Officer duties as required.
