- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:15 AM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:15 AM - 3:00 PM

The Opportunity: We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Full-Time Cafe Manager & Barista to assume a central role within our establishment. This permanent position demands a dynamic individual capable of adeptly overseeing front-of-house activities, setting a strong example for others, upholding stringent standards for customer service and product delivery, and demonstrating mastery as a Barista.
Core Responsibilities:
- Customer & Product Excellence:
- Greet and serve patrons with warmth and efficiency, accurately processing orders and transactions (cash and EFTPOS).
- Demonstrate Genuine interest in building knowledge of our French pastry selection and being adept at explaining our diverse offerings to customers.
- Guarantee that all food and beverage items are prepared and served in strict adherence to Sacrebleu's elevated quality and Health & Safety standards
- Address customer inquiries professionally and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure a satisfying experience.
- Barista Expertise:
- Craft and present a comprehensive range of coffee beverages to an impeccable standard, including maintaining and calibrating coffee machines and grinders for peak performance. Latte art is a plus
- Cafe Area Management:
- Contribute to the appealing arrangement and consistent restocking of bakery products.
- Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the cafe area.
- Execute timely and accurately daily opening and closing procedures
- Operational Leadership:
- Inspire and guide the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee incoming deliveries, manage stock levels, and place timely orders to maintain efficient inventory flow.
- Ensure seamless daily communication and provide regular updates to the Head of Kitchen.
- Participate in all required training programs and team meetings.
- Exhibit readiness to make effective decisions and devise practical solutions for operational matters.
Candidate Profile:
- Essential Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years' background in the hospitality sector.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a comparable leadership capacity within a bustling cafe or hospitality setting.
- Demonstrated Barista experience
- Food Safety Handler or Supervisor
- Leadership Attributes:
- Outstanding organizational capabilities and excellent communication skills.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently, especially during busy periods.
- Proven ability in effective time management.
- A proactive and decisive individual, skilled at identifying and implementing solutions.
- Skills & Qualities:
- French speaking is a desirable bonus, though not mandatory.
- A solid grasp of best practices in healthy food and beverage preparation.
- Reliable, consistently punctual, and possessing a strong commitment to work.
- A genuine enthusiasm for the food service industry and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work Eligibility: You must hold full working rights within Australia.
- Availability: Ability to commit to the consistent full-time hours as outlined in the roster.
- Commute: Dependable transport to Dee Why, NSW 2099, enabling arrival for early morning shifts (6:15 AM starts).
