Panthers Penrith has an exciting opportunity for energetic and versatile customer service professionals to join their friendly Panthers Functions and Events team.
We are looking for enthusiastic team players with a welcoming smile to deliver excellent service to our members and guests. Thriving in a fast paced team environment, the role is a floor based position which you will be required to actively participate in all related event services including pre and post event functions.
Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Setting up event spaces for various requirements, including theatre-style, banquet, and cocktail layouts.
- Moving and arranging furniture as well as setting of tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, and glassware to meet event specifications.
- Maintaining floor cleanliness, including clearing tables and collecting glassware and plates during service.
- Assisting with food and beverage service, including carrying multiple plates.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests throughout events.
- Handling cash transactions accurately when required.
- Performing general cleaning duties to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills;
- A good level of physical fitness as this role can be physically demanding;
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work;
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve;
- High standard of personal grooming;
- Fantastic communication skills;
- RSA and RCG Certificates and;
- Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required including nights, weekends and public holidays.
