About Us:
Full Stop Australia is a not-for-profit organisation, operating nationally, but based in Sydney.
Our mission is to put a full stop to sexual, domestic, and family violence and to support those who have been impacted by violence and abuse.
We operate the NSW Sexual Violence Helpline and a range of specialist Redress and domestic violence counselling services.
Full Stop Australia also offers best-practice training and professional services to support safe and respectful workplaces, and advocates for changes to laws, policies, and practices to better prevent and respond to sexual, domestic, and family violence.
About the Role:
This role is a permanent full time position.
The Fundraising Lead (Philanthropy Specialist) will play a key role in expanding Full Stop Australia’s philanthropic funding base ensuring the sustainability of our vital services.
You will lead the research, cultivation and stewardship of new and existing donor relationships, driving strategic engagement across appeals, major giving, bequests, corporate partnerships and regular giving.
Desired Skills and Experience
You will be a passionate and experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record of generating income in the not for profit space, who has an established network and relationships in the philanthropy sector.
You will be committed to and have an understanding of intersectional feminist perspective on gender based violence.
Importantly you are an excellent communicator with excellent attention to detail, and able to inspire donors and stakeholders.
Your qualifications and experience will include:
- A tertiary qualification or five years of relevant experience in fundraising, philanthropy or related area.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in writing compelling and successful grants applications.
- Experience using digital content management system and external fundraising platforms to deliver outcomes.

Salary: This position has been classified as Level 5 under the Social, Community, Home, and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award.
Contract: This is a permanent full time position.
Full Stop Australia offers a hybrid model of working, with the option to work part of your hours from home (where applicable).
