**What’s the role?**
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for building impactful partnerships and driving brand growth? We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Partnerships – SA to lead the development and execution of our audience and commercial strategy in the South Australian market. Reporting to the Managing Director, SA, NT & WA, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our local presence, fostering meaningful partnerships, and championing advocacy campaigns that align with our brand values while delivering measurable growth.
**About the role:**
+ Lead the development and execution of the South Australian audience and commercial growth strategy.
+ Build and manage strategic partnerships that enhance brand presence, advocacy, and community engagement.
+ Drive profitable revenue through innovative consumer and client engagement initiatives.
+ Develop and deliver marketing and advocacy campaigns grounded in clear accountabilities, data, and analysis.
+ Create and execute sponsorship and partnership strategies that support brand positioning and audience growth.
+ Identify and explore new revenue streams, including content partnerships and e-commerce opportunities.
+ Oversee revenue tracking, market share, ROI reporting, and budget management.
+ Collaborate with sales, editorial, and brand growth teams to leverage external relationships.
+ Inspire and support a high-performance culture within the South Australian leadership team.
+ Champion initiatives that embrace best practice, innovation, and inclusion.
**Who are you?**
+ A seasoned professional with 15+ years’ experience developing and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorships.
+ Proven ability to deliver audience and revenue growth through partnerships and advocacy programs.
+ Strong track record of managing revenue streams, market share analysis, and ROI reporting.
+ Adept at identifying, nurturing, and retaining partnerships that drive mutual value.
+ Experienced in working with diverse stakeholders and engaging with local communities.
+ Skilled at collaborating across business units, particularly with sales and editorial teams.
+ A strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions.
+ Highly effective communicator, able to articulate strategies and brand values with clarity.
+ Demonstrated leadership capability with a focus on inclusion, collaboration, and high performance.
+ Financially astute, with strong budget management and resource allocation expertise
