The Role
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven FMCG experienced Planning leader to oversee the end-to-end planning function within our Branded Business. In this critical role, you will drive planning excellence within our Branded Business and enhance organisational planning maturity to optimise service levels, inventory efficiency, and working capital—supporting agile and sustainable growth in a fast-paced environment.
As the Planning General Manager you will lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and collaborate closely with major retail and distribution partners to ensure outstanding service outcomes and responsiveness to market demand.
This role is based at our Docklands 3008 office and offers flexible hybrid working arrangements—three days in the office and two days working from home.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and support a high-performing planning team across supply, demand, and materials, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Champion end-to-end planning performance across a diverse product portfolio, ensuring service excellence, inventory balance, and effective working capital management.
- Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, aligning cross-functional plans to enable business resilience and long-term success.
- Build and strengthen trusted relationships with key retail and distribution partners, working together to deliver outstanding availability and service outcomes.
- Promote thoughtful, data-informed decision-making by leveraging planning systems (SAP, IBP, Power BI) and scenario planning to enhance agility and reduce risk.
About you
- A supportive and experienced planning leader from the FMCG, dairy, or food manufacturing sectors, with a track record of guiding diverse teams to success.
- Deeply knowledgeable in IBP and supply chain optimisation, with a focus on delivering balanced outcomes across service, inventory, and cost.
- A skilled communicator and natural collaborator, able to influence and connect across all levels and functions.
- Confident using data and analytics to inform decisions, with strong proficiency in SAP IBP, forecasting tools, and visualisation platforms.
- Strategic, calm under pressure, and committed to mentoring others while navigating complex challenges with care and clarity.
