Join a growing and established building materials supplier in Belmore.
We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse.
At Kingstone Building Material Supplies, we specialise in supplying roofing, rainwater goods, polycarbonate sheeting, aluminium, and custom metal fabrication. With a well-equipped workshop on-site, we handle everything from small custom orders to large-scale jobs.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, hands-on role working 5 days per week across a 6-day roster.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking, cutting, packing, and dispatching customer orders (heavy lifting involved)
- Receiving and unloading deliveries and reconciling delivery paperwork
- Unloading monthly cargo shipments and safely storing stock
- Stock control and inventory checks (basic spreadsheet use)
- Assisting customers with loading materials on-site
- Keeping the warehouse neat, organised, and safe
- Participating in continuous improvement of inventory management processes
About You:
We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and eager to grow with us. You’ll enjoy working in a team environment but also be comfortable working independently.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse or dispatch experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Physical fitness and comfort with heavy lifting
- A current forklift licence (preferred but not required)
- Basic computer skills (using spreadsheets, tablets, or warehouse systems)
- Good attention to detail, especially with inventory and paperwork
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Chinese-speaking ability is valued but not essential
Requirements:
- Must have the right to work in Australia (Permanent Resident or Citizen preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A current driver’s licence (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $63,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
