Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity is available to be part of the Golf and Sportsfield Maintenance team across Maroondah City Council.

You will be an integral part of the team that maintain Ringwood Golf, Dorset Golf and all of Maroondah’s Sportsfields and Leisure facilities. The role offers a great variety of work across some of Melbourne’s best community facilities.

We are seeking an experienced Sportsturf grounds maintenance person to become part of the Golf and Sportsfields team that has a strong work ethic and is willing to work at a variety of facilities which will include Golf Courses, Sportsfields and Leisure Facilities, with a focus on attention to detail, innovation, and continuous improvement.

You will need:

• Demonstrated experience in Turf Management or similar field.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding in contemporary turf management practices, turf renovation, and irrigation systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of large and small turf maintenance machinery.

As part of our selection process you may be required to have pre-employment checks. (Psychometric Assessment, Medical, CrimCheck and Working with Children Clearance).
