What You'll Do
You will lead the development and implementation of governance framework, ensuring alignment with legislation, government requirements and internal policies. You'll provide expert advice to senior leadership, support the Board and its Committees and oversee performance reporting, policy compliance, internal audits and risk frameworks. This role also leads organisational capability building through governance-related training and ensures compliance with procurement, privacy, and records management obligations.
What You'll Bring
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in management or a related field
- Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of Public Sector governance frameworks and legislation
- Proven experience leading a high-performing governance function or compliance function
- Expertise in performance reporting, risk management, procurement and audit
- Experience building and implementing policy frameworks that support compliance and continuous improvement
