Front Office – Guest Services Agent (Casual)
As a Guest Service Agent you will be delivering exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure. We are looking for someone with flexible availability and a passion for the Hospitality Industry. Training will be provided.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 6-months preferred)
- Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Christmas & New Years period
- Strong understanding of the Hotel Industry and Customer Service
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Immaculate grooming and professional image
- An outgoing, vibrant personality with drive and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience with Hotel Management Software (such as Opera, RMS, Northstar etc.)
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel
Tasks & Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Check in and check out of the guests, including payment and assistance with luggage
- Greeting and directing guests as the first point of contact for the Hotel
- Taking and updating of reservations for accommodation
- Handle incoming telephone calls
- Assisting guests with special requests & general information
- Responding to email enquiries and sending reports where required
