As our Head Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the training and growth of the entire kitchen team. Additionally, you'll provide support to the Restaurant Manager in overseeing key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Ability to understand, interpret and explain key kitchen financial performance indicators including cost of goods, labor costs and wastage
- Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
- Sound understanding of food safety concerns
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
