The Sales Finance team is responsible for the strategy, pricing, marketing, and performance of this high-potential portfolio. We have strong foundations — a large partner network, a well-known brand, and proven financial products.
We’re looking for commercially driven, analytically sharp, and action-oriented people who thrive in high-impact roles. You’ll be joining a team with a clear mandate: deliver for our partners, drive performance, strengthen execution, and deliver growth.
To support this, we are seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships – Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth, customer acquisition, and commercial performance across our top-tier partner portfolio (excluding our largest partner, Harvey Norman).
Managing a team of partner leads, you will take a hands-on approach to unlocking sales finance volume, optimising partner engagement, and ensuring our propositions deliver strong outcomes for customers and commercial returns for the business.
This is a critical leadership role, combining relationship management, commercial acumen, and frontline execution. You'll lead negotiations, shape go-to-market initiatives, and work cross-functionally to remove barriers to growth across our most strategically important accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management and growth of Australia’s top 19 strategic partners (excluding our largest).
- Set and deliver volume, revenue, and customer acquisition targets across the portfolio.
- Own partner engagement strategy and cadence, ensuring deep relationships with key stakeholders.
- Drive performance through campaign optimisation, in-store and digital execution, and partner enablement.
- Lead contract renegotiation, renewals, and commercial discussions to protect and grow value.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Analytics to tailor strategies that drive performance by partner.
- Coach and manage a team of Partner Leads, while being hands-on in strategic accounts as needed.
- Identify new product or promotional opportunities based on partner insight and market trends.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and operational standards are met across the partner base.
About You:
- 8+ years in partnerships, B2B sales, or commercial roles in financial services, fintech, retail, or payments.
- Proven success managing large strategic partners and influencing senior external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial instincts and experience driving revenue outcomes in performance-based partnerships.
- A confident negotiator and communicator with strong leadership and team development skills.
- Deep understanding of customer finance products and retail/channel-based distribution.
- You are fluent with AI tools, and use them regularly for tasks like proposal writing, partner insight generation, meeting preparation, and reporting automation.
